Brace Yourself

This custom project was commissioned by a Memphis based orthodontist who is originally from Arkansas. The design is based on the concept of our Robert Johnson models which feature a kick drum and vintage Mississippi license plate and vintage travel stickers.

This drum features a new 16” bass drum and Aquarian Super Kick II drum head. This offers top of the line sound quality and really mimics the punch of a full bass drum. The drum is also wired with an internal pickup and signal boost pedal. The customer said he was looking for an “A+” quality project and we rose to the occasion.

The customer was able to make the project his own by including a license plate from his home state of Arkansas. He also screened dozens of case ideas until we found the perfect fit - an oversized vintage tweed case with original European travel stickers.
